A 2026 Personal Update
Before I jump into today's update, I just wanted to say thank you.
This spring and summer have been such a meaningful reminder of why I love this work. I've had the honor of photographing a family's very first days with their newborn, celebrating a graduating senior on the cusp of a new adventure, documenting a family's final season in St. Louis before they begin a new chapter, and creating legacy portraits for a couple celebrating nearly 50 years of life together. Every session has been a story worth preserving, and I'm so grateful that you've trusted me to document yours.
Even if my 2026 season is coming to a close a little sooner than I expected, it already feels incredibly full.
With that said, I wanted to share a little family update.
Our family is getting ready to welcome baby #2 at the end of September, and we couldn't be more excited! As we've been preparing for this new season, I've realized the best way to care well for both my family and my clients is to begin my maternity leave a little earlier than originally planned.
Because of that, I won't be booking any fall family sessions this year.
If you've been planning on reaching out for your annual photos, I know this may come as a disappointment. While I wish I could be in two places at once, I'm also incredibly thankful for the opportunity to slow down and be fully present for these first precious weeks with our son on the way and help June transition as a big sister.
The good news is that St. Louis is filled with incredibly talented photographers, and I've put together a list of people I trust wholeheartedly who also shared they have avaiability for you. Each has a beautiful style and takes wonderful care of their clients, and I hope one of them is the perfect fit for your family this fall.
There are many more I could list but these are the ones who have shared they have availability for my clients. This list could be much longer!

Thank you, truly, for supporting my little business through all of life's seasons. Many of you have invited me back year after year to document your growing families, and that's something I'll never take for granted.
I can't wait to soak up these first weeks as a family of four, and I'll be looking forward to returning behind the camera after maternity leave with a grateful heart in early 2027.
